i was wondering if anybody has ever seen one in real? is it one of those crapy plastic useles devices , or could it really be an external (usb) mjpeg en/decoder
does ayone ever seen one for pc, and would it not be possible to use it with vjamm(fullscreen output with mjpeg cards)???

it won't work with vjamm as its a MAC thing and there is no vjamm for the mac (yet)

i would guess that it would have a bad triggering latency as well because of the usb buss - btu that is only a guess based on my usb sound card experiance.


on the mac VJamm front there is good progress as russell (the main guy who codes vjamm) has now got a mac and has started to program on it - don't expect anything too soon but it is going to happen at some point

When it comes to USB (i have found) there is only one word to describe it and it would be far to rude to put on the forum! It just doent have the data transfer rate for video
