Private Message count

It reads 17 messages in my account, I have only 5 that I can see at the moment so what does this mean.
I also cannot find the link to take me straight to PM's, I can only access by linking from a PM notification or once in vB home,
any chance of a link from the message board

The other messages are probably saved outgoing messages :) check your outgoings and delete the ones you don't need to save

what is a VJC point and who or where do they come from??
Dunno what I did to get one.
I have noticed that some members have more points than posts,
and some members have so many posts without points; usually the outspoken types, do they get minus points.lol:)

The VJC points are given on VJC for contributing, I can't remember exactly how many were for each but basically you get a a bunch (20 odd I think) for a review or an article and some for a news item, etc.. and like one for a comment or something.... if you do a forums search on VJC points you should be able to find the exact break down......

Nah no minus points and I agree, some of the outspoken ppl out there should put more time into something more constructive like writing stuff for VJC.

Yeah its under vBulletin Options -> Private Messaging Options -> Maximum saved messages
