repair facilities which users can recommend
I have a flat touchscreen monitor that needs repairing, past its warrenty and No, I can't afford a repair from microtouch.
May need a new board, maybe its a right off.
could do with some help to get it fixed.
Anyone know of any cool repairers?
or have had bad experiences?
Specilists that you might have found?

*****, thats a great offer but i was thinking of somewhere a little closer, When I get the time (been saying that for 18months) I will PM you and get your address.
I was also trying to jog people into chattin about repair problems, and local places that they had found. It is always sod's law that a good bit of kit goes down at the wrong time so. Not everyone can afford the pro inspection fee or for that matter. the turn around.
I am getting some video LCD's mended at the moment, so I will post if they are quick and cheap...and good.

hi *****, you seem to have an answer for almost everything...respect due!
The repair of my 5" LCD monitors:
They need a minture fourescent tube which is used for backlight
hexachain - HC640 1A
Do you have any ideas on sourceing this part or do I say goodbye to it and buy a new one, on special offer and cheaper than getting a cut up circut board mended...in the first place.
ps it is sentimental to me
