Vusic

Anyone heard of Vusic (http://www.vusic.com) before? I just saw it advertised on AudioVisualizers.com. It has some interesting stuff but the visuals are really CHEAP (especially with the limited number of colors used). I have the feeling that some are going to laugh :) I don't know if it's supposed to be a VJ software or just for "home entertainement" (like Winamp AVS) though.

umm, I've been meaning to change that ad - hey I know - I'll stick on a resolume ad instead I think. btw, if anyone wants a registration code for vusic - I've got 25 to give away that I forgot about. -dave

err looking at their website it only came out in 2001 and its intended for dj's and record labels to use!!!!

Umm I guess they didnt look at the alternatives available in the market already or something?

I think its most likely that he has just been busy or not ever looked at this thread again and jjust forgot about it. Why not try emailing him?

hey there..sorry, I have not even logged into this site for almost a week, been so freaking busy. re:vusic...I dunno if it is just my organization (which I think is moderately ok)...or if the email that they sent me the reg codes on was on my old laptop which was stolen last year at a show...if that's the case...I'm sure I have the data on backup somewhere...but I'm just treading water as it is, going through OE backups to find that would throw another moneywrench into my schedule...

so what I suggest is this to you Brain - and also LEV who asked me for a code a while back - I can't deliver...

so: write directly to vusic, copy and past my msg here if you wish, but whatever, convey to them that I lost the 25 codes I was given by them, and tell them you won my contest or whatever you want to tell them, but you would like a registration code with my permission. They seemed like pretty nice folk, I'm sure they'll be able to help you out.

on another note, I tried "DJ'ing" if you will for the first time in my life last night...but with samplers, sequencers, keyboards, vocals, etc...and it was pretty awesome...I'm gonna start getting more into some synesthesic stuff soon, and will post crazy pix and weird tales as soon as I can find my uplink cable for my digicam.
