I am curious why no-one (very few) has reported on gigs that they have not gigged at her.

Maybe VJ's are so pretentious that they only bigup there own gigs and give no comments and reporting on others.

I just posted here because of lack of knowing where else to post it, I would ask you to please move my post to where it suits, for it is no report.

I would love to report on other parties if I could see any. The situation over here has nothing t odo what most guys over here are used to, unfortunately ;(

I'm quite happy to see reports by the people who ran the event. Ideally we would have other people reviewing. But with such huge numbers of board members being in Argentina...

The main issue:
How do we encourage more people to post reports on gigs they've been to?

Most people have no reason to write up a gig... what do you gain from it?
How can we change this.

i think we will start so see things change - at the moment it is quite rare in most places to have a vj in the audiance (except in brighton :)) - as the festival seanson kicks off i think we'll have much more people seeing visuals and thus being in a poisition to write reports.

i'm sure having no reason to write up a gig will not stop people doing it FFS they spend enough time writing about other pointless shite with no reason to do so!

its early days with this one but i think (hope) that it will improve

I know I would have harsh words against most of the visuals I've seen here in Montreal - politically it's better to keep those words for myself than appearing like the big bad wolf. Local criticism is dangerous, and even more so when it comes from a competitor.

What I also notice is people postiing stuff like what I posted in "Inspiration"... How do you consider your stuff to be inspirational?

My post is still there and no comments except for kommy's ;/ oh well...

Unfortunatly its not very often I get to see other gigs with visuals.

We are the only people doing visuals for small house music club nights and the last international that i went to that had visuals, were done by me.

so no reports from me sorry.

some good some bad... a lot of crap out there in VJ land and that even includes our own archive.

To be blunt I've not seen any stuff that blows me away yet.
