|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| ||||||||||||||| FRAMEFARMERS |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

hello,
We want to anounce the launch of the Flashmixer.de <http://www.flashmixer.de> minisite and the final pre.release of the flashmixer 2.0 software
|
|||||||||||||
The Flashmixer is a software for mixing and composing various Flash(SWF) movies, that you can handle like a toy.
It's like a simple After Effects version, but as a 100% livetool, no save, no record function, it's just for the moment. (if you don't record them on a videotape)
For us, the main aspect on flashmixer is combining image sequences together. That's why we embeded functions as rotation, positioning and scaling. Every funktion has a random controlmode, so we can fit the images to the sound. There are other functions too, with what you can influence the way a film is played, you can add play-rhythms with the playcontrol or let them blink or colour them or put a mask on it.
Finally we would say that all together the flashmixer is a unique instrument for jaming with moving images.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| ||||||||||||| BUERO FUER DIVERSES |||||||||||||||||||||||||
The minisite FLASHMIXER.DE is the communication plattform for people who use the flashmixer, and features the exchange with supporting audio , video, graphic artists.
-- and we please everyone to sent us SWF-Flashfiles, that should be featured in the Filesharing area of Flashmixer.de
-- or if you're an audioartist, we would please you to sent us an audiotrax/mix (15 min max) that we can feature in the Sountrack
area for onlinemixing with the flashmixer.

I know you were kidding :p

I guess I'll have to add a sub-category for Flash mixers soon... The "live performance" category is getting quite crowded.

Oh so your software is the bomb but no one else can even have a copy.... sheeesh shut your trap about how wonderful it is till it can be judged by your peers, and if you never plan on realeasing it then shut all together about it.... I don't want to be tortured over something I can never have (CVI in a smaller box anyone :p )

mr edible did a set down where we are at (NZ- south Island) for New years using his software to some good effect...

There is also some other good NZ made VJ software - VJ pro 2 which VJ finny uses - this also has no plans for release - It has a great overlay function

Surely one of the key rationales of a forum like this is to give and take? I try my best to help anyone IF I have an answer, and constantly check the forum to see where I can offer the same help that was given, unconditionally, by the fine members of this forum. Edibleplastyc's post is both childish and completely alien to the culture of this board and I cordially invite him to go piss up a stick.

I personally would like to see more input from mr edible (as I do with everyone) as long as it ain't just more boasting of how wonderful his (private) software is.... try contributing in a useful way mate

Although I'm interested in seeing what plastyctoy is all about, I'm perfectly content to stick with my VLight proggie, which by the way isn't mouse-driven at all, which is a good thing because I run it full screen on a 1 monitor system, only inputting with my keyboard on THREE layers, rather than two.

Cool little clip, though, on his webpage.

im starting to contribute more mr morph, but only to whats relevant to me really.. and i shouldnt really boast.. im only doing to get a reaction,

warp.. hope your not using any of that footage ;)... would be kinda pissed if you where... but what can i do about it... also.. I would love to c more shots of that gigs... as i havent got any..

doc... i thought of having 3 layers... but for speed of clips.. which i like to go realll fast i only use two... but then again I could code it for another coup;le of layers if i wantd... we are at the mo programming it for midi... and the whole thing is running from a xml code, and is integrated for online use as well.. so anything else you cats want to know.

jaffa... if you cant take the piss then what can u do..

peace
