From the article:
"People just don't look at billboards and posters on the street anymore. You have to be more creative now."
So why the hell can't they give up some of that billboard space to more interesting works?

omg!
that has got to be the wildest, freakiest idea i've heard of in ages. i bet many of us will even live long enough to actually see the future youth get their bodies plastered with 'em. hell, if my skin isn't too wrinkled by then i'll get one myself!
...that would be just one step away from artificial camouflage skin, all behold the human chameleon/sepia :alien: .

Ahhhhhh, but becoming Video Mimetic (http://projects.star.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp:/projects/MEDIA/xv/images/oc-s.mpg), Video Transparent (http://projects.star.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp:/projects/MEDIA/xv/images/oc-okugai3.mpg) or Video Translucent (http://projects.star.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp:/projects/MEDIA/xv/images/bone2.mpg) is way more cooler. :D

Oh boy!! I really hate spoon feed shits up around :P but just for sake to snatchoff some comments about the above post I?ll give some further info about how you also could approach similar results just building a modest Linux Box nicely well configured running EffectTV VJsoft (http://effectv.sourceforge.net/index.html) even when you have not to your disposal that special fabric required to fullfill the mimetism thing showcased in the clips. ;)
To have a closer idea about how the technology behind the clips works, take a look to this PDF brochure. (http://projects.star.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp:/projects/MEDIA/xv/Brochure-e.pdf) :)
