I'm wondering if there's any apps out there that will "simply" produce a slide show that sync's to midi clock...probably with speed controls (1:1, 1:2, 1:4, 2:1, 4:1, 16:1)
I was doing some googling for it, but no luck so far....

Why don't you try REsolume or Flowmotion ( as with fm only clips maybe midi mapped i think )
cheers

they are more than I'm looking for...
I just remembered Arkaos VMP which doesn't have midi, but the realtime beat detection, which might do it well enough....

really looking for a simple cheap/free app that will pull pics(many many pics) from a designated folder(like 1,000 pics) and play them in whatever order...no efx needed even...play them to a beat..determined either via incoming midi clock (Redsound Beat Extractor) or built-in beat detection via mic...with the ability to manipulate # of pics per beat on the fly....doesn't seem that hard, does it?

or even more crude, just having the ability to manually set the speed by two keys on the keyboard would prolly suffice
