Hmmm looks nifty but damn huge.... far to large for what it does... especially if its just running Arkaos VJ which I personally don't really rate that highly.
Would be nice to the unit in larger detail with a decent tech spec of whats in it.

Looking at the small screenshot, it seems they just put together various elements (TVs, MIDI keyboard, computer, etc) and linked them. So the only thing really unique is the box they made. That's a bit like computer manufacturers (Dell, etc).
Is it for sale or do they just present what they made?

BTW I just noticed how the name ArKaos is similar to my own 'brand', videKAos :p They even use the capital K! I truely didn't think about this before. videKAos sounds much better though :D

Yeah I agree that it's only "regular" stuff in a box.
But it must be kind of nice when you have to travel with a band (what I have done for 2 years and a half) to have everything in a flight case with wheels...
It was so bad to pack all my stuff when I had to go to the states... (well it was a while back and I was not very organised...)

Yeah thats what I meant..... hama I know very few McVJs that have stuck with Arkaos (accept the really old version that had a great alternate frame playing bug) over the newer/other vj softs like VDMX, RCfuse, etc....
Not that different from my kit (which is all connected inside) but it fits in a simple 8u SKB roadcase with wheels and seperate backpack for my laptop :)

that a pro or a con ? ;)
but don't put that grande old dame down 2 fast,
we'll still find some stuff hidden there which amazes us
like that cool feedback behaviour while using multiple
clip layers, never seen that anywhere else.

From the picture, this box seems to be A LOT bigger than a "flight case" though. It looks like you'd need a truck to move it :D

The alternate frame bug is wikkid, when you hold 2 keys down on you midi keyboard it plays a frame from each alternately creating a wikkid fast 2 source strobe... friggin cool :) I would consider picking up and old mactop for this alone :)
Yeah X a truck, and fork lift to lift the damn thing... not really what I would call the ultimate in portablity, I would endever to say that quite a few VJs here have better, more compact, well designed rigs.
