I am looking for a library to read mp3 or wav files to my program and i was wonndering if any of you has any suggestion.

I am coding in C++.

Are you working in windows?

If so DirectShow will play mp3s, along with any other codecs installed in your windoze. This is the Micro$oft front door recommended system, so you benefit from Bill's ongoing support too.
