Canada - Rental of video equipment

Planning a 6-gig tour (with electrojazz band Wibutee (http://www.unlekker.net/proj/wibutee)) of Canada and need to rent monitors and projector. The first gig is in Winnipeg. Any recommendations for AV rental places?

dorry-- knwo nothing about manitoba.... where's your last gig in canada, might be easier to rent from there.... montreal toronto and vancouver all have pretty good rental folks...

if you are gunna try to get one in the praries (ie manitoba....) talk with Portal . i think he's near there...

send me an email at rbuchinskas@sympatico.ca and let me know what dates, cities and what kind of gear, and I will try and give you a list of places to call. Definitely can help with shows in toronto, edmonton, calgary or vancouver, not sure about winnipeg, but will ask around.
Sharp AV is decent, but expensive, there are better options.

Thanks guys, I might end up renting stuff in Norway and bringing it over. We're playing jazz clubs and the organizers are starting to make noise about "expensive video equipment". I guess they're not so tuned in to the whole idea of VJ'ing.
