Was reading about the game 'Rez' and stumbled upon this game coming out for the gamecube called Unity. Looks frickin' sweet.

good ole jeff minter!

not much of a game imo really, it's the latest version of his VLM software, mixed with some Tempest-like gameplay it seems. It's more of a visualizer than a game.

I always thought it would be kewl to have a scrolling shooter like 1942 that released enemy based on the music you were listening to.

Jeff minter would disagree that it is not a game. THe game elements to it are strong apparently. But true it can be used as a lightsynth and they do for some shows/club nights/festivals, etc. Wanting to get the VLM team more involved with AVIT/vj projects etc. Time will tell.
