VJing in the Observer

Read this report in an English national newspaper, it's about an event that took place at the Brixton Academy, at which InsideUsAll (members here) Vj'ed.

I've posted it in Inspirations as
1 - I couldn't find a more relevant place :o &
2- getting a mention of this sort in an English Daily national paper I think should be an inspiration to us all.

I think this report is a milestone in terms of public perception of images and music, to which promoters always (usually / only? ;) ) listen... that helps us all.

the article wasn't much to write home about tho, didn't even mention our name :(

we had 7 matrix controlled screens which was our biggest gig yet. two of the screens were the in house brixton academy projectors though, which for future reference are disspointingly dim - they are off screen in the pics and the vid below [up in the v high roof]. we also had video feeds to all the other rooms in the venue apparently - although i never left the mixing desk, apart from to go and have a quick dance or two...

Mmmm nice, I used to go to Brixton Academy for New Years eve going back a few years (Eat Static etc) and it never looked even half that good - marvelous stuff, yummy :)

I really like venues with an upper level, I miss the Que Club in Brum :(
