Starting VJ

I would like to learn how to became a Vj.
What kind of software and hardware.
How should i start mixing
everithing you know about the basics of beeing a VJ:)

I suggest you get busy and start reading posts!
alot of "newbie ground" has been covered..also look at www.vjcentral.com for more info, and of course www.audiovisualizers.com too (think av is down at the moment)

Well got an e-mail from av that his server was down and needs a repair or something.

It should be running again on this moment they said, but still can't get on the server... so it probably ain't working yet and is still down....

also a good idea for newbies if you can manage it is to get to leeds on oct12 for AVIT www.avit.org.uk, as many of the workshops will be pitched at newcomers
