Thesis Title - The VJ Era: artist or technician?
Yes that's right, another lucky bugger who's getting to write their masters thesis on VJing. As I'm fairly new to the scene, I'd love to get a few quotes on the definition of the VJ. So, if you had to sum yourself up in a few sentences, what would you say?
The angle I'm taking with the thesis is using the VJ as an example of the interdisciplinary artist. I went for this subject because I've been slowly finding out that you really need to know alotta s**t to be a VJ - oh and it's given me a whole heapa stuff to write about too...nice!
So, which discipline (if any) do you think is more important to the VJ - science, art or technology? Which background have you come from yourself?
Any additional views on this topic would be much appreciated too...you loverly, loverly, bunch of people :yep:
Thanks
