I just moved to NYC a month ago...I have a projector and a laptop + Dope visuals, but no NYC connects in the visual world. Can anyone help? Check out some of my work at the URL below. My work is more installation type stuff, but I am into the VJ scene as well.

Just checked your site, some real nice stuff there. Just be persistent, you've got the skills, soon people will come to you to do shows...

check out VJforums members section, some may be living in NYC, try and hook up with them...

Audiovisualizers.com also has a VJ repertoire which you can look up...

Check out REMOTE Lounge. Its over on the Bowery dowtown. I know they had some sort of openhouse for visuals during the summer. But it would be a good place to check out. Or complacent.org . They do stuff at the Lunatarium sometimes, i think??

I'm out here in NYC. I'm getting my feet wet in the art of vjing and have quite a few connections as far as potential venues and hooking up with the scene.

I'd be more than happy to show you around.
