hi,

i installed pd/framestein today,
and i can?t help to wonder if somebody is actually USING it for life perfomance...

i would learn the programming language,
if i could see that there?s a possibility to change some clips easiliy, and add some effects.

don?t get me wrong (and my bad english ;)
i?ve used resolume & flowmotion and WANTED to get something "more open"...

you can do pretty cool things with pd.
but can i do "simple tasks", too?

I spent a little bit of time looking at this, because I've seen some lovely stuff done with MAX/NATO, and I want something like it for the PC.

Unfortunately I found it took me a long time to get it set up initially, it kept crashing, and I eventually ran out of patience with it.

HuoLong is the resident PD expert, if he's got any further with his PD experiments I'd love to hear about it.

Pete

oh,

sorry 4 late answer, i just found this post. I haven't use(d) Framestein much because the avi playing is slower than on Gem... and Gem is MUCH easier to learn... but i know how to use Framestein so if you need any specific help stanley, send me an e-mail (ja, kann auch in deutsch sein)
