What is required for me to hook up my laptop to a projector (leads, etc.)? I know some software allows you to shift the video from your screen to the projected screen (like motiondive).

you could go straight to your projector (beamer) from your laptop...wouldn't recommend doing that unless necessary...my advise would be to get a scan converter that has a zoom function, yes a $100 one will do the job, and go into the beamer via RCA/SVid...you will notice a lower rez by doing this, some people can't live with it...many people accept it as part of the medium of the art....and what you lose in rez you quickly gain in flexibility.

note: if you have a composite(rca) or svid jack on your laptop, you basically have a scan converter built in already...but it probably won't have zoom
