Innovative hardware ideas

I was at a big party in toronto called State back in December and they had a really cool idea to have several cheap 16mm cameras set up around the dj booth projecting a ~30 frame loop of film (about 15 inches of film spliced into a loop that is) onto small 4X4 cloths hung from the support beams.

Does anyone else have any other neat or innovative ways to add more pizzaz than the standard big screen on a wall?

i don't think you can call film loops "innovative" people have been doing them for over 100 years

Hey Doc, where was this party at? I'm in T. as well and do film and slide as well as video, so it could have been mine. If not, it would be cool to find out who else is doing it around the city.
