View Full Version : Somewhere to get a quick fix?

I have a pile of hardware issues right now, largely concerning getting DirectX and Open GL working perfectly with Vjo and my Radeon's capture drivers and blah blah blah. Lots of problems, all centered around my new AIW 7500 - and so. . .

I've spent way way way way too much time asking friends, asking friends of friends and etc. Way to much time paging through online tutorials and whatnot, trying to get this all working.

And I clearly do not know enough to do this on my own.

so I'm asking: where/who can I go to spend a few bucks to get my system up and working perfectly? Is there a store/place (LA area or whatever) that specializes in really specific problems or is extra good at this sort of thing? Any advice would be appreciated.

thanks

aint PC's great?
whenever I run into shit like that, I like to keep plugging away/banging my head against the wall until I figure it out...

"Why do you keep hitting yourself in the head with that hammer"
"Because it feels so good when I quit"

Seriously, maybe hound the VJo board people?
OR maybe try asking the heds in our weekly VJ chat..
surely someone here is using the same card/similar setup...

As for just bringing it somewhere and paying someone...be careful..the techs are perfectly happy to figure it out for you at their hourly rate, so it matters if he knows what he's doing or just trying shit 'till it works (like you are doing anyway)...
