dual monitors

it seems my laptop(sony fx503) does not support dual monitors(having 2 monitors conected to 1 computer, each with a separate image). i can use a second monitor but it is only able to mirror my laptop screen. i have been told it is a limitation of the hardware. is there anyway around it? i have a tv out. will this help

it depends on your gfx-card but if you have a vga and a composite out then your card should handle this. look at the probertys of you card there is somewhere a button for futher settings and there you should be able to adjust the output.
if not maybe re-install the drivers.
