Hey, I'm about to change my bulb, and I know there are some special considerations, but I don't remember what they are... help?

(unforunately) I've had the pleasure of changing the bulb of my InFocus...it wasn't a big deal, it was an all-in-one module...just the bulb mounted in a platic cage of sorts...simply pulled the busted one out, insert new one....
the $300 price tag was a bigger deal than changing it...

Well, the title said it allright ... Don't touch the bulb.
PS 1: do you know why ?
Well ... the grease on you r hands (unless you're a freak who washes 'em 20 times a day) heats up the glass more on that spot when it's burning.
PS 2 : don't throw away the old lamp.
Do you know why ?
Because most of the projector lamps are the same lamps in a different housing. Off course it's not that way with every projector, but... you never know. What type of projector do you have ?
