Deffinition

Hi All,
I'm writing about VJing and wondered if anyone new of a registerd deffinition of the term, or if not could give their own deffinition, thanks for your help,

there has been hot debate on this topic on here before, I'm sure..

there is some stuff in this thread (http://www.vjforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=2660)

but I can't find other threads that I'm sure have been around at the moment, maybe someone else knows where they are..

anyway i'll take a stab at it:

vj = someone/some people who are displaying live mixed/created/effected video as part of a wider production (whether this is music, theatre, dance or something else). I don't think that it includes installations, although something like Gridio blurs the boundaries here...
