I urge everybody to buy a copy of this - it is the best wrk i have seen in years. One of the worlds best bands ;) and one of the greatest animators have produced a 90min musical that conveys emotion so strongly. Before i saw it, i couldn't imagine how powerful an AV piece could be, but ths blew me away - who would have thought 4/4 house music could do this ;) Buy a copy today and lets hope more work like this appears!

Yer, if you saw any of the music videos for "Discovery" they've carried it on for the whole album and it works sooooooo well

I've gotta say, I liked their video style before the whole anime thing... off the top of my head, the video for Around the World comes to mind, that video was so lo-fi it was great, any one of us with 12 friends as extrasand a DV cam could've done that video. glow in the dark marching/dancing looping... great stuff, anyone with tons of money can hire an animation house...

that style was very popular in france late 70's early 80's before cable came around there was cartoon shows once a week on wednesday afternoon (no school then), they banked on the nostagic effect I suppose.

Beautiful style with all the hair-flying-in-the-wind and cape-flowing-with-the-wind stuff, even the best best 21th century 3d hair and cloth simulation dont look so sensual and "real".

If you like the style you gotta check out : Captain Future (http://132.187.38.69/homepage/index.html) another classic example of the style, feature very novel ideas back then such as Otho the morthing character, the sound track is brilliant too like analog synths played/twicked in real time along with the action.
