Remote Vjing?

Has anybody tried vjing from a remote location eg down a broadband line? i tried it in my home last night using the network in my house and did a small set from upstairs to the downstairs computer and monitered everything from a dv cam, it worked reasonably well with some latency though, but i think with more powerful hardware you could have this set up in clubs with more than one room or levels, and just have slave computers and projectors in all the rooms while you could run evrything from the main room. what do you think!! or am i just trying exert my geekiness in clubland?

we've vj'd on BPM internet Radio - you can see what we did here (http://www.bpmradio.co.uk/archivesProg.htm) (we've been misspelt as syzergy, playing with John Heather)..

basically, their setup is that they are owned by a porn baron that uses the spare bandwith from the porn sites for internet radio, so they usually have a camera set up on the dj whilst they play, but we come and plug in directly.. it's interesting, although the quality and framerate of the stream is very low (as you will see).. I don't have any idea of the technical details of the stream we were sending over i'm afraid, no idea of the bandwidth available on it.. but ahving done a couple we decided that to get the best results we would need to work out the framerate and build visuals around that..
