The dj-promoter idea already gave me some thoughts, for some time know.
Here in Belgium I haven't found a vj-promoter yet.
I have a friend who's a dj promoter (organised-djs.com (http://www.organised-djs.com) and he's looking out for some gigs we (me and my partner, we form: _ Digiteyez _) can do.
On the other hand we are our own promoters ;-)
Vj-ing is really booming here, so i guess it's just a matter of time and a vj booking agency will be a fact.

Anyone and I both have residencies where we book other VJs to come in every week. I don't think that's really acting as a proper booking agent, but it works out very nicely. Other VJs get to come play in a new city, we get a good variety of different acts every week.

yup. My position is a bit unique and difficult to comment at the moment.
Things are moving a lot nowadays, and a lot has to be said about trial and error...
in a nutshell, I'm part of microchunk, which handles my bookings, tour managing, logistics of special events like Vectors. Inside that structure, I look out for other VJs to participate in these events, sort of like A&R guys in records labels...
