clubs in chicago???

I know there's a bunch, but I'm also far enough away that I don't know which ones.

I think a lot of the clubs out there have resident VJs that are kind of protective of their turf, but hopefully some of the chicagoans on here will know some possibilities...

Hi, I live in Chicago but I don't really VJ at clubs yet. I would check out places like Vision, Zentra, Crobar (it just re-opened), Excalibur, Circus, Big Wig. There's a bunch of smaller clubs and I'm sure plenty of places I dont know. Goodluck!

yeah man, chicago can have some weird-ass politics...but there must be oppourtunities in that big windy city....I'm certain there are clubs/bars popping up and "upgrading" everyday with full A/V systems installed...but no one to do anything cooler than a kung-fu dvd!
If I was closer to chicago I'd spend time looking myself..but its a 2.5 hour drive (hint: not so far away that I can't do guest spot gigs ;) )
