I have to say that the online presence/program of Avit Brighton looked totally pro!

In my opinion carrying that level of detail through to the tangible festivals is what's needed. Not being derogatory here, but as the saying goes "It looked good on paper" (or lets say better on paper) applies.

I think that the strong online presence should be exploited more in a campaign to show that Avit is a serious force for the future of A/V festivals.

I don't know who was all involved in creating the online presence,
but I'd like to congratulate them all on a sterling job.

hey thanks guys, but keeping that site up to date was a proper knightmare.

but morris how do you mean when you say it should be

"exploited more in a campaign to show that Avit is a serious force for the future of A/V festivals"

I guess your talking promotion campaign, but thats an area that needs developing anyway.

so..ooo..... how do you think/suggest it can be exploited more?

Hi Paul,
Nice meeting you during the festival, sorry I missed your set. Great job on the site.

Yea I do mean an online promotional campaingn, targeting areas linked closely to our industry, the arts, festivals, education etc...I think that there was a lot more people that whould've come if they new about it in time...regional promotions.

Realy just hightening awareness of the festival so that when the next one comes up people will know what avit is, when, where and maybe realise that they would like to be involved in funding, support...

I don't know what the traffic on the brighton avit site is post festival, just think it will be agreat waste if the site is not used more to promote, educate, build up a mailing list.
Also for future festivals selling a/v compilations of dvd's online..

short and simple viral campaingns and links on relavant sites
"Have you heard of Avit? Check out what you missed out on in Brighton this year!"

I'm sure you guys have thought about most of these things already...
just a few more in the pot
