right i've been thinking about this and as discused there are 3 aspects to this gig

1) conferance/workshops and daytime showtime
2) live acts and experimental audio-visual experiance
3)conventional vj party space

so there you, go put your names up and the recruting officer will be in touch ;)

uhm, that's hard.....

1) conferance/workshops and daytime showtime
i'd love to have Huo on a pd/gem panel,
but i'm sure he won't like moderating it ;)
but maybe we can show some hardware
work like the port-a-[vju:] or some controllerstuff
maybe i am in the mood 4 for pitching the
universal visualizer platform idea if enough devlopers
are around. one of those is likely to happen, whatever it is :)

2) live acts and experimental audio-visual experiance
if everything is going fine, we'll come to leeds
with our own special breakbeat generation A/V-Act
(music by hama and beatmaker / viz by huo)

3)conventional vj party space
sure we'd love to have a timeframe over there
but let's see how it turns out that eve...

if there's anyway...I would gladly do 1)Rebelle demon-stration...possibly a A/V PA thing too?

BTW, how the funk do you you get info on rebelle?
that stupid website is completely resistant to giving out any relevent info...:alien:
if this is a secret, then email me privately:(

really, it isn't a secret...but rather vieled...you goto the first website, click and it "devolves" into what looks like code, there you see certain phrases underlined...these are links, click on the first link to go into her rants...links further in the paragraph jump you further down the propoganda....the info thats there on the specifics of the rebelle is towards the bottom. I know none of it is all that clear, especially if you don't know what a "phase locked loop oscillator" does on horizontal sync...

I'm going to make some more examples soon (maybe even get to it today), plan to take a clip and show what happens when you change just one knob....probably be able to put some of the audio on it too.

You can DL the manual, I posted a link in one of the threads somewhere...gives you some insight anyway...

i've been thinking about the 2rd aspect of this idea and at the moment it seems to be the weekest, origanly it was because people expresd a desire to create a experimental audio-visual experiance but so far no one has realy expresd a desire to get involved withn that space so what if we create a more pre-club space, we can still bring the experimental side to it but create it within a more conventionel bar seting
just an idea
