OK I know we are all busy little beavers but we all sit around with a cuppa the day after a gig and surf the net for a few hours. I'm suggesting (starting with editors, hopefully moving to others) that we all take some time to go through our lkits piece by piece the day after when you unpack or something and review each item in your kit or maybe if it has already been done maybe add something to the thread that involves your experience with it the night b4 or something.

Basically I think we need more reviews of kit components (both hardware and software) and I think we should lead by example. So next time your relaxing with you kit hanging around, look @ the items and throw up a few reviews :)

PS yes I reviewed my entire kit quite a while ago. :)

I think most editors have already contributed quite a lot to VJC... Keep in mind there is only 8 editors out of 528 members, 90%+ of which haven't given back anything. Besides, editors are mostly supposed to help members to publish stuff, although they are welcome to show the example and post some stuff themselves.

Maybe you should post this on one of the public forums or move this post elsewhere.

OK moved it..... still a VJC topic so its here now :) most relevant section I guess.

Yes we have all contributed a lot, just trying to lead by example..... thing is I bet we all have heaps of kit lying around that it would only take a couple of hours on a sunday afternoon to review... would also be nice once that stuff is done of getting into the habit of review new kit as you get it :)

Sorry if i'm being bossy, just trying to help things along :)

i think the editors have done a good job so far, but there should be more member contribution....i started an outline for a review on MD3 last night, but god knows when i will get time to finish it...how would you like to lead by example, morph, and edit it for me when its done..?

be sure to post a "Coming Soon" page, spook, so that no one posts a MD3 review before you do :)

I posted the review with the title "Vegas Video 3.0" The other review entitled "Sonic Foundry Vegas Video 3.0" should probably be consolidated with the new one. The new one might need to be renamed the same as the old one.
