LEVLHED

I'm trying to determine how I'm sittin as far as personal living/eating expenses go while in Brighton..I'm sure there are others coming from abroad who might like the info too, so here's a thread all its own for it..
I was wondering if the locals might be able to give an estimated GPB-per-day kind of "skint yank on the town" figure...how much can a guy expect to spend a day in Brighton for modest-to-cheapish meals and incidentals (tobacco, cup of coffee, bus fare, etc)?
For example, in the states a typical lunch costs $5-8 and a dinner can be more like $5-12...so an estimate per day might be $15-25
of course depends on what you're into, but I think you know what I'm gettin at..
