I would like to know if some of you could suggest me a good scan converter to buy. I'm a new in VJing, but I'm very interested in it. So, I want to work with two computers. Arkaos for AVIs that I want to hear the sound they have, and Visual Jockey for intense visuals exibitions. I intend to mix signs in a MX1 and then to projector.
Which would be an affordabble and effective scan converter to my setup? (max. U$ 200 and no zoom problems)
Sorry for my english... :)

I use the UTV2000 (http://www.threedoubleyou.com/scanconvas.htm) for a few weeks (on jaffa's recommendation) and I'm very satisfied with it. It cost ?140 which is about $200 I think, and there is a 2x and 3x zoom which can be positionned wherever you want. Best of all, it's really small and can be powered through USB (if you plan to use a scan converter for each of your computers, it will be valuable).
Me or jaffa will write a proper review of this scan convertor on VJC soon :)
PS: Your english is very good ;)

Just done it - been meaning to for a while but had a wee problem with it which, I am happy to say has been sorted with the minimum of fuss. Feel free to add your comments - I hope I've not omitted any major aspect. The little beast has really worked for its living these past few weeks and I have total confidence it the support from threedoubleyou.
