Hip Hop Footage

anyone have an idea for finding footage of some hip hop dancers (b-boys) or some grafitti guys?? i have to do an opening party for a grafitti exhibition in Luxembourg and the music will be mostly HipHop & R'n'B but all my library is more like house music-style!

Maybe if someone from countries here around (germany, belgium, holland) is interested to participate we can arrange something!

The great thing about breakers is that they don't mind being filmed at all - in fact they like it! Pretty much all cities will have some breakdance crews, so hook up with them and you should get all the footage you need.

Graf folk can be a bit more funny about being filmed - you will have to convince them that you're not going to produce something that the police could use as evidence against them. (Not too hard - just avoid filming faces)

If you can contact the artists in the show see if you can shoot them in their studio while working. it would be a nice compliment to what is on display.

If you're not averse to pinching the odd shot from the odd video, try 'Wild Style'. Film about a graffiti artist in New York and big hip-hop reference point. Good luck with yer thing.
