Hello all,

I have not posted here before, but my name and work has come up... and well frankly, been misrepresented. So I thought I might actually speak for myself... or rather let my VJ interactive works do so.

So I invite all who might be interested (and have the right gear to do it... New speedy Windows machine with a Nvidia card) to check it out. They are "visual synths" created in "Touch".
There are three of them to play with, and I'm told by others are great for live performance. You will need to download the free copy of the "Touch Player", but hey hopefully you will think it's worth it.

I more than welcome all comments that relate to MY works! But please, no comments directed to me on aspects of the software itself. Not to be snide, but the last thing I need is some specific self-promoter showing up and claiming how his software kicks this software's ass. It's the tool I use, I love it, and maybe you will appreciate the ART I make with it. It's an invitation for you to check out my art, and maybe perform with, the art that I create... for free.

here is the link and what you need to do:

www.derivativeinc.com

click on the "artworks" link, and then find the icon of the dirty sauce pan, and that will lead you to mine and my partners label "Secret Sauce". Once you download the "synths", you will need to download the free "touch Player" in order to use them.

Hope you give it a try and enjoy.

Hello, thanks for posting :)

Sorry to hear that you feel misrepresented, Im afraid from what Ive seen so far the nature of internet forums makes this hard to avoid when its other people talking about an artist/art when they are not there.

I am weary of software vs software debates, and I certainly dont think they belong in the Inspiration forum, but again it does seem to be a reoccuring theme of forums and indeed human communications. When I got tired of the Spectrum vs Commodore 64 arguments at school, little did I realise that such battles of the owners/users would be a contant theme of the technology side of my life.

Im sure Ive contributed to such things myself as I guess its easy to get attached to certain software, or to form strong dislike for software that personally have had a bad time with or see no merits of. These days im very much into trying to use all available apps for their strengths and plug any weaknesses with a combination of other software.

Ive not got acces to an nVidia card tonight but I look forward to checking out your art tomorrow.
