Hi, I've got problems with rendering and exporting the
video i've worked on in Adobe Premiere 6. It will always show black video with only sound and no visual. I can import video
in, cut it and work on it, but when i render it or export, all I get is a black video. I had this problem before, but it was caused by some benchmarks or system aplications like chipset accelerators, but i unistalled them and it worked.
I had to reinstall the system and now i can get Adobe to work again, even i have installed only the necessary drivers and codecs. .. .Did any of u had the same experience ??? Im using Win 2000 on PIII 1.0 G..
...HELP!!!!!  :(

What export format are you rendering in?

This is normally caused by a VFW/Directdraw codec problem.... try rendering your output in a different codec, try something a bit older with VFW support

hey Quark, Ive had the same problem too. I was running Windows ME. But when i installed the Pinnacle DC10+ video card, the problem went away. The card encoded the video format in the miro-instant codec...
So as morph said id try a different codek. & change the VWF settings..

Thanx y'all, it all happens when im working on a DV project and no matter what codec i use, It's all black, only sounds. When i switch to a Video for Windws project it's working perfect, except when i use DV codec for an export. But all other codecs work good. I bought a DV cam and i want to work on the video in DV mode and export it in DV quality. I don't wanna buy any special digital cards to capture DV, i only use ordinary FireWire card, and
P3 1.G, which should be enough to grab DV video. So what are these VFW settings?? Aren't these supposed to be a part of the great Win 2000????

Hahahaha the great windows 2000 hardly.
Sorry but as for the combo of DV/Premiere 6/win2000 I don't know. I use DV/Premiere 6/win98 and have NEVER had a problem, worked straight out of the box.

Thanx to ya all. I solved the problem. It was because of Angel Potion Codec. I unistallsed the fucker and it works now.:D :D :D
As for Morph, Win 2000 is more stable than Win 98. I use both, but w98 only for games. Some crakz won't work under 2000.. :D
As for working with video, Win 98/FAT 32 can't export video file larger then 4 GB and do not support Open DML. Therefor i rather use the ,,great,, 2000 taht as only PC system works with Adobe Premiere 6 and large files with no problems.
I mostly use Microsoft DV, but i heard that it is slow and any other DV codec is better. Can anyone send me some sites where i can download full versions of some good DV codecs for free ????
thanx

Why would anyone use a mpeg codec for DV is crazy...Mpeg is a temporal codec, and it will lose quality when sent back to DV...
Quark, the angel portion is an Mpeg 4 reformulated DivX codec and is fine if you are burning an AVI to disk, but use only DV codecs if you are printing back to DV:cool:
