you can just use the x button of the explorer window. if you are the last one in the chat (who was using the shockwave client) you might still see your name listed on the vjc page. This is because the code that tells who is online is executed in the shockwave client. This means if nobody is using the shockwave client, it is not updated until someone uses it again. This is a temporary solution until I figure out how to make the bot do this.

Speaking of the bot, it's now running on my computer which has to be on 24/ for this purpose. If anybody has a shell account that may be used to run a (light) process for this task, please speak up.

A shell account basically gives you remote access to the UNIX command line, over telnet or SSH.
