I haven't seen it yet, but the trailers look very slick.

We are having the full set of films at the AV festival based in Newcastle, UK in November, meant to be very good.

The full series showed in South London late last year. They left me without doubts that Barney is the most important visual artist working at the moment.
When Barney does gallery-based shows, he often shows the props from the films as objects, and earlier this year he took over the Guggenheim with the films, props, photos, etc. He said that he felt that THAT, the entire installation, was really the Cremaster work. Brilliant stuff...

the cremaster films are really, really great works of art. i saw some of them in a cinema and couldn't believe the high production standards, the great sets + props - so much more than you usually get in art context.
BUT i highly recommend to see these films as an inspiration only and NEVER use them in a vj context. not only for legal reasons, but out of respect for the complex vision the artist has created! this is SO much more than eye candy...

Too right! I think this work is too special, too personal and too contextually driven to be mashed up in a club...
