I am a Canadian-based electronic music producer and live performer, seeking a VJ partner for live multimedia performance (as a duo "band").
My influences range from:
1) Psychedelic trance (e.g. Miranda, Hallucinogen, Astral Projection, Planet B.E.N.)
2) U.K. acid techno (e.g. Chris Liberator, D.A.V.E. the Drummer, Stay Up Forever Records)
3) Hard trance and techno (e.g. Tresor Recordings, Form Recordings, Adam Beyer, Drumcode)
4) Techstep drum and bass (e.g. Vinyl Syndicate, Ed Rush, Optical)
5) Sexy, funky tech-house (sorry, don't know my labels in this area)
6) Goth/industrial dance (e.g. Switchblade Symphony, VNV Nation, Covenant, Front 242).
I perform live with the following gear:
Yamaha RS7000
Roland XP-30 keyboard
Pioneer DJM-300 mixer
In terms of VJing style, anything and everything can be a good fit. Please challenge me and my ideas.
I am willing to relocate in Canada for Sept. 1, 2003 to work aggressively on live multimedia performance projects with an equally keen partner.
You may examine my Web page at http://www.palliser.lib.sk.ca/portal/index.html or contact me directly for further information. If you would like, I can send you a demo CD of some of my audio work (or MP3 files, if you have access to a FTP server). Serious inquiries only, please.
Best,
Marcus
