Visual Artisan wanted (VJ, GFX & lighting geek, theatrical visualist) to join ambient/world/epic-newage production. Music label signing as well as national booking firm pursuing this project to foster a complete audio-visual performance that falls somewhere between Peter Gabriel/Enigma audio and Cirque du Soleil/Baraka visuals.
You would be expected to supply personal tech gear and library while venue buyer would supply stage gear and props, sound and lighting system, projection equipment, etc. Your role would be to transport the audience to beautifully evocative and darkly intriguing places using projected imagery, programmed dmx lighting, haze/fog, and onstage performance cues.
Booked performances will be paid with 50% advance from venues (Performing Arts Centers, theatres, etc.) and overnight and air travel required but reimbursed after each show. Compensation per booking would realistically range from $200 for fledgling shows to $2000+ as we progress and build event over time.
Fly-out overnight gigs will likely start in North America (I am LA based) but plans to travel internationally is the goal as team grows and production matures.
