Someone please help amukidi

just recieved an e-mail of amukidi. He can't reply or post to any of vjforums. he suspects that it might be down to him changing loggin names in the last few days.

All he gets is a dns error.

We need to get this knowledgeable (old!) man back on site, so if anybody can help, please do.......

Ummh.....would not have thought tha twould have made a difference after all he posted fine for a day or two.

Ummh...access masks are in the mod control panel which is problem where the problem is occuring. Probably set to awaiting confirmation or something. Vbul gets confused sometimes.

Although I will add myself to the relevant groups and see what I can do but I'm a bit busy atm so my not have time til tomorrow.

Oh this thread needs to be moved to the bug and update forum.

Could be an ISP webproxy/cache issue. NTL had some problems with certain inktomi cache servers a while ago and I would get DNS errors when using reply buttons etc on certain forums.

He should try reading this stuff:

And change his web proxy to a different one using their instructions. Its worth a try even if he isnt on NTL.

YEah with DNS issues it is usually something more externall.
