We're putting on a tech house and minimal night called Bury Your Head at The Russian on Kingsland Road near Shoreditch on 22nd August and are on the hunt for VJs.
Mike Monday's (http://www.myspace.com/magicmikemonday) going to be playing out on the night and for those of you who know the venue, it's a dark den of iniquity so will definitely be one to savour.
We're not looking to make any money from the night so rather than cash what we can offer is some drinks, a couple of spots on the guestlist, a proper VJ set up (there are a couple of projectors and screens at The Russian but you'd need to bring your own laptop / mixer etc), good vibes and who knows what else on the night...
The night's running 10-5 so we'll probably look to get a 2 or 3 VJs down so you can run around and have a bit of fun too.
I VJ myself so definitely not looking to shaft anyone, we're more looking to find some like-minded VJs who are up for a good time, into the music and can provide some wicked visuals to match our tech-house / minimal soundtrack.
If you are up for it, get in touch with demos / links at jr_goldstein[at]hotmail.com
Cheers. Peas and loaf.
