Dangers or reporting pirated films to the copyright owners?

I'm just wondering would the be any implications if someone reported a site that was illegally hosting a film?

your most likely get a letter telling you not to do it and remove the film from the website

probably threterning to take you to court if you dont comply - i personaly havent herd of any big midia company jumping in and takeing an individual to court right from the start

haha nah im not working for the man, it just annoys me peoples attitude towards piracy. Sometimes my morals get the better of me.

The reason I ask is because Blogger has no direct method of contact, only some form for companies to report their own concerns and it says some legal stuff about how
they could get in trouble.

ah, i realy dont know, and tbh im probably the wrong person to be talking to about vid piracy being a bad thing, as i sail about on the high sea's with me jolly roger hoisted high ;)

I cannot see any problems reporting it.
What problems were you thinking there might be?
Infact google/blogger encourage it they want to keep a clean site.
