Glastonbury - who's doing what?

its that time of year again...

i seem to of been roped into one of the most stupid projects i've even been involoved in - a big brother type reality tv show in a caravan! (lost vagueness chapel sat night) its a resonably complex technical setup made worse by the total lack of budget!

Glastonbury really has gone mainstream and corporate hasn't it... Still, it's sure to be fun one way or another.

What is Tuaca anyway? Is it new?

We're not going to be at Glastonbury this year, but we are doing some visuals at Shambala (http://www.shambalafestival.org)

yep will be there with tod AVinIt, inside us all dave, and a few outhers but i forget at the moment, doing some live feeds for the cassino space at lost in las-vagueness and i'm makeing a bit of a mix tape at the mo' so will undobtably see you there :)

p.s. tell me about the budget, ie none, lol, i had a 1 day job lined up to earn 6 cctv cameras for the gig, which has just fallen throgh so i had to buy them, dam, there goes a chunk out of my personall entertainment budget, got a dam fine deal on them though and good kit is good kit.

Not quite lost vagueness but close enough. We're doing an installation with the person doing d?cor in the Glade as she wonted to add a multimedia element this year so we're projecting lots of natural chilled out stuff on to her tree hangings. There are possibilities of getting a few proper sets going as well, but we'll just have to see. Any offers?:D

Looks like I'll be spending all my time in lost vagueness with all these visual treats in store, I carn't wait.:jump2:

i believe some of the raya/soxan crew have been asked to do dj sets on avalon radio - but only if they have a legit ticket entry anyway - so thats a coupla mds in the post then.

re: vjing - rumour was that raya boy - mike 'fezman' heap was asked to look into vjing for royksopp but havent heard much else

finances are an issue with vjing as per bloody normal at glastonbury, some one has asked for a bowl of brown m&m's and the vj's get their fees cancled.

the guys here are doing stuff with Greenpeace every night - running a kind of night time outdoor cinema crossed with our London night The AV Lounge. DJ VJ sets, screenings of AV work, they're gonna be screening some rare EBN stuff and Undercurrents toooo...

Is that Glastonbury or Shambala (british columbia)?

We had someone doing the negotiations for us to get in the big dance tent to do visuals this year, but he arsed it up. (never trust an expert) Now it's very late and we're hoping -

Is there anyone else going in this year who needs help with manpower/equipment? We've got 2x 1600L projectors, 3W NdYag laser, etc. I've never done more than photography at the fest before, I'd really like to VJ there!
