ive got an old infocus lp500 with a broken bulb, ive been surching for a replacment bulb but have only come accross ones costing £300+

now for that kinda price i can get a new/seconed hand projector, probably with better specs

so i was woindering if anyone knew of anyware realy cheap to get a new bulb from before i sling it/give it away

you can ask www.myprojectorlamps.co.uk if they sell you just the bulb without the cage. the cage makes those replacement lamps expensive but as you have the cage already you can just replace the bulb. basic soldering skills required though...

The reason projectors are cheap is that there is little profit in making them. They make money on accessories. Just how it is.
