ArKaos 2.5 ????

a little mouse told me that ArKaos VJ 2.5 is in development. Can anyone confirm this? Is a date set yet?

that same little blabbermouth mouse told me that version 2.5 will also include live video streaming as well as an expansion to the current still picture snapshot feature. Does anyone know any of the other new features?

i used to use ArKaos regularly, for its range of effects and quality midi control, but the lack of certain functions gave me too much frustration. Whats the general word out there on ArKaos? Who uses it? How do you use it?

relax, 2.2 is still beta, so the release of 2.5 will sure take it's time.

but your little mouse seems to hang out a lot on the [Aqueous_Arkaos] list on yahoogroups, where the new
features are discussed with some members of arkaos itself
so your infos r right. u might influence the dev of 2.5 by submitting
good ideas to this group tho.

y am i using arkaos.... i'm used to it, all it's pros an cons
it was the first vj-soft i bought, so i'm still trying to get my
money worth ;) and as ever there r somethings u can't
do with other apps.

but fact is: the grand ole dame arkaos is not up2date
considered the new generation of vjsoft like
flowmotion, resolume and svd-1 and overpriced too
but i won't miss it in my vj-setup.
