just wakin up after all the partyin last night.

just wanted to say a big THANKS to all organizers, performers, travellers, and everyone who helped make this awesome event happen. i learned a lot, was newly inspired, and met some chill people. cant wait for the pics, and the next one.

i arrived home last night after about an hour delay on the ground due to technical issues on the first plane, then a rough a slow flight into pittsburgh international due to massive thunderstorms. on top of some serious chest congestion, i called off work today to recover. ;)

aside from the minute negatives, i had an absolutely amazing time in chicago. thank you once again to everyone who was involved with making it happen. i helped out where i could, but you know so did everyone else. the community really came out in force and got things done. i had some exceptional conversations and thoroughly enjoyed listening to the panel discussion at the end of the conference on saturday. the showcase on saturday night was awesome. i brought some friends of mine from chicago with me and they had nothing but positive comments.

i am fully looking forward to future events! thanks again everyone .. it was a pure joy to meet you all. :) see you at the next one - i'll be sure to bring my stuff. ;)

Still high and in the dream. Definitely one of the most pivotable points in my life. VjC has materialized as half of a whole. Now I only need to complete the circle. AVIT UK awaits.

AVIT NA was a major success : my head is still full of shining new ideas, inspirations and techniques. Big thanks to the organizers and all who volunteered to help make AVIT what it has become : a real-world forum !

It was also amazing to see that even though AVIT NA was on another continent, in a completely different (and very nice) venue, with different people, it still had the exact same vibe as AVIT UK.

It also was really fun to finally be able to replace those pixels avatars with real-world faces in my brain's RAM.
