I wanted to know if there would be any interest in a website or section of a website devoted to the trading of Flash loops. As a Flash enthusiast I've really gotten into the mixing of Flash loops along with video. Throw a lumakey'd Flash file over a nice peace of video and you've got some tight looking visuals that are clean and crisp. I think its the scaleability factor that I love so much. When gear begins to handle more than full NTSC or PAL, there'll be no need to rerender my clips :)
Sorry for the ramble, back to my original thought.
So would there be any interest in a Flash loop sharing site? If I know there'll be an interest in trading, then I will be happy to build a scetion of our site specifically for this purpose. The thread we've got started here is great but some folks don't have the personal webspace to post there stuff. The nice thing about this is we could actually post all the files online to be previewed before you download. Video is typically too big for such a thing so you end up spending most of the day downloading something you're not even sure you'll like. It would also be interesting to have a section for "battles", "Flash Tennis" or just collaboration. Theres plenty we could do with it.
Any thoughts on this?
