I was in attendance this past weekend. I enjoyed the mixing on the screens at night, the daytime stuff was really awful (no offence if it was you or your crew) .. and I think that probably had a lot to do with restrictions by the nature of the event. Regardless, even minimalist mixing could have been better during the day. The Movement stage was most impressive to me during the nighttime performances. I imagine those jumbotrons will make everything else look like ass - they are very impressive. :)

I had a blast! I'll check out the video tonight when I get home from work.

Cheers,

cool..yeah the daytime stuff wasn't us so much..we were focusing on the nighttime..
the Underground stage was a local the whole weekend..
Main Stage was disassembler on Saturday night, one of dis's pals during the day on Sun. and another local on Sunday night.
The Movement stage was Dis's friend on Saturday night and ME on Sunday night..
The Pyramid (one over the river) was me Saturday night and Disassembler on Sunday night...

all the camera work was done by the A/V company and we generally didn't have control over those mixers or how/when they were mixed w/our output...

THANKS! :) I was pretty happy with what I did too, esp. the bit at the end of the night...I went out and looked at it and it was tripping ME out and I made the thing!

No, I'm (unfortunately) in Wisconsin, and YES I'll be at AVIT (I'm the treasurer and one of the three (yes, only 3) people putting the whole thing together...

well, it's not set in stone but i am trying my best to get my ass there for at least saturday. i have to work until 5 pm on friday and i hadn't really planned on attending until i thought about it and i have people i can stay with there, so really my only expense would be my flights. would you recommend bringing gear or is that just too much chaos? i honestly don't even know what to expect from the conference .. it seems like it's just going to be weekend to weekend this summer for me, like so many before. ;)

I was on the main stage (movement) on Sat. and Monday night.

If the screen was strobing to the beats then you saw me.
It wouldn't be a good night if someone didn't go home in a seizure.

Ever wonder what LEV looks like at 5 in the morn. Well wonder no more, just check his logo. :D
