Weird colour balance thru projector

I've just returned home from an intensive 5 day period of VJing using hired projectors, some of them were ok and a couple were a bit odd - one seemed to have a pixelated image (I use Flash movies) and the others had a definite green tint to the overall image! I'm a bit worried that it might be the output from my Sony Vaio, but really don't know! Has anybody else had a similar problem? I can't get hold of a projector to experiment, so the next time I do a gig (end of this month), I will have to play around in the (limited) time allowed for setting up. Any suggestions?

I've seen "old" projectors that have a definate green tint.

Ah Ha! Its my scan converter!! I just tried the TV out on my Vaio to the TV and the picture is perfect - sharp as a shithouse rat. The moral of this story? Carry a spare......sigh, more money

Well jaffa I hope that this problem is not on all models of the scan convertor because I ordered mine yesterday :alien:

That had already occured to me! But my guess is don't worry, the team there are REALLY helpful and friendly, you actually get to talk to real people and they bend over backwards to keep their customers happy. I'll keep you posted!
