View Full Version : split 3 screens from a mac powerbook?

Is there a way to split (not mirror) into 3 different screens from a PowerBook video out -so I will have one long continues stage on 3 different monitors (I know its possible with Mac towers using upgraded PCI cards, but PowerBooks don?t have PCI slots)

if you buy 3 zooming scan converters you could pull this off with an app that has fullscreen out (the higher res the better of course as its gonna be divided over 3 screens)

Rendering your source material will take special care though, cos it will probably have to look something like this

If you want pci slots check magma (I've forgotten the url) the build pci expansions and pcmcia to pci adaptors...

I never said they were cheap :D
but the cheapest ones (2 pci slots) go for 850 $ or so...
